Abashiri Municipal Museum of Art
The Abashiri Municipal Art Museum will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2022. It is an Okhotsk art museum rooted in the local climate and houses works by Abashiri-born painter Kaichi Ikushi, who was active in the Independent Art Association, as well as works by artists associated with Abashiri and those who used Okhotsk as their subject matter.
